When I'm not working in multimedia design, I'm a photographer specializing in concert photography, product photos and portraiture. My primary medium is medium format film, but I've recently begun to utilize digital photography for commercial work. I've been actively taking film and digital concert photos since late 2019. The diverse lighting setups, intense action, and need to think on my feet foster challenges that have enabled me to push my work above and beyond where it was when I began my career as a photographer.
my interest in product photography comes from the inverse of my interest in concert photos. I'm allowed to have full control of my subjects, lighting, and backgrounds, which give me unlimited creative freedom to explore the medium, and utilize the product itself to help create a look and feel to enhance its image.
portrait photos fall somewhere between the two. I'm allowed unlimited creative freedom within a set of boundaries and get to work with another creative in a medium that is typically new to them to explore and identify the feelings they desire to get across with their photos.
