objective: Create a focal point to build a system of branding around.

solution: When working on branding, I tend to start by creating simple text logos as a focal point to base the rest of the design system around. From there I will add an illustration or simple graphic to use as an ident. From there I'll tend to establish a system including typefaces, color schemes, and a few templates so marketing assets can easily  be reproduced and tweaked. These typically come in the form of "posters" formatted for use on social media sites like instagram and twitter, and can easily be turned into motion assets for tiktok or instagram reels. From that point forward, most other assets are simple to build from the framework I've set up.
